My name is Anita Hanks, and I have had the privilege of being Head of School for the last 20 years. We are excited that you are considering our campuses for your child and invite you to learn more about the Starwood difference.
Starwood Academy of Frisco offers an environment where children love to come to school and learn from and with others. Our high-fidelity Montessori program provides an academic environment promoting practical life skills as well as supporting social and emotional growth as we prepare compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
The classroom environments are designed for the children, emphasizing the acquisition of knowledge, understanding, critical thinking and problem-solving. Our committed and compassionate team of Montessori-trained guides supports the students in their holistic development: academically, emotionally, socially, and physically. It is an honor to be leading a collaborative team of educators and staff committed to life-long learning and respectful relationships as they also continuously expand their knowledge base in service of the students they work with.
