As part of our 20-year celebration for the 2020- 2021 school year, students, families, guides and alumni are sharing their Montessori story to highlight the impact of Starwood Academy of Frisco education.
The Laquey family (Jan and Alex with Landon, Upper Elementary) have been engaged supporters of our school for nine years. This is their story:
Why did we choose Montessori for our family?
As grandparents, to Landon, we wanted him to have the best education we could possibly give him. We knew the best we could offer him was a Montessori education with its enriched learning environment, respect for the individual child and their unique personality, character traits and needs. Freedom for each child to be who they are while taking their own responsibility to learn in a guided classroom setting.
What makes Starwood Academy of Frisco special to you?
The professionalism is amazing while being extremely friendly and family-oriented.
What does your family like best about Starwood Academy of Frisco?
Landon began attending Starwood Montessori School at 18 months and he is now 10 years old and attending Starwood Academy of Frisco. We have absolutely loved everything about Starwood Academy of Frisco. We love and appreciate the Starwood Staff and look forward to many more years together.Thank you to the Laquey family and our entire school community for your long-lasting support for our schools!
